We strictly use water buffalo leather in all of our products. We use “heavy” 8-10 ounce thick leather, which helps to ensure a lengthy life out of your strap, lanyard, or tote. Water buffalo leather is naturally resistant to water, which helps provide a little barrier from the elements. These products are designed to be used outdoors, in the harsh elements Mother Nature provides. With proper care, these additions to your hunting arsenal can last you a lifetime, while providing memories that will always last a lifetime.
     When you get your leather gear muddy or bloody, take a damp cloth and simply wipe it off until clean. Avoid soaking the leather in water or spraying with a water hose. If the leather doesn’t simply wipe clean, you can use any quality leather cleaner or saddle soap to work the dirty or bloody areas clean.  Once the leather is dry, you can apply a liberal coating of leather conditioner or mink oil to the leather.  Note: Mink oil or many waxes made for leather, will normally darken the leather a bit.
     Never dry your leather gear with the aid of a heater or place it in direct sunlight. This could cause shrinkage or cracking.
     Never store your leather in air tight containers or in plastic for long periods of time or it may cause them to mildew.
    Store your leather gear in room temperature and out of direct heat or sunlight, and they should last you a lifetime.
